Founded and created by an enthusiastic, hospitality-minded, and passionate team, we have one clear purpose: the development of sustainable and innovative hospitality concepts that respond to current trends and the needs of tomorrow. While our main focus is on creating and operating new, innovative hospitality concepts, we also provide consulting services to existing hospitality companies in operations and marketing. Our clients often describe us as “top notch and kicking ass” — and we’re not joking!

As an innovative hospitality company, we do things differently in order to change the hospitality industry in a positive way. We have to, as we see big threats moving toward our beloved industry. We can’t and won’t neglect much-needed innovation. We turn traditional business models upside down and create our own. We’re not scared to be a bit rebellious, and we love to ‘color outside the lines’. Apart from this, we love to broaden our horizon through consulting already-existing hospitality concepts in concept development, operations, marketing & PR. We carry out profit sharing among our teams and are the first restaurateurs in the Dutch hospitality industry to implement this. Furthermore, we will continue to develop our renewed hospitality HR-model to retain and attract much-needed talent!

What did we achieve?

Since our inception, we’ve achieved several milestones. In 2016, we launched the award-winning Pesca, followed by a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign in 2019. In 2017, we opened de Tulp in Amsterdam, Fiona (inspired by a renowned Mexican chef), and Lolo (an Italian concept). We also introduced two hotel concepts, THIS HO(S)TEL and Boutique Hotel Zaan. In 2022, a second Pesca store was opened in Rotterdam in collaboration with Borealis and Hilton, alongside the launch of ‘Stadsoase’ in Eindhoven. In 2023, we introduced Selva and Sonora, two innovative concepts on the 24th floor of nhow Amsterdam RAI in collaboration with NH Hotelles, and celebrated a significant partnership with Meliá Hotels International. This collaboration led to the acquisition of three F&B outlets at the INNSiDE by Meliá hotel in Amsterdam, where we are developing the concepts MOST, Tierra, and Hasta La Vista, Baby! on the rooftop.

What’s next? 

Looking forward, our focus remains on the international growth of Pesca. In 2024, we are excited to announce Pesca’s expansion to Hamburg and Nice, marking another significant milestone in our journey. This expansion demonstrates our commitment to broadening our reach and redefining the hospitality landscape beyond the Netherlands. And we are opening Café LouLou in Eindhoven and a new establishment in Amsterdam.

Join the fish revolution at Pesca, where we’re committed to the future of responsible fish consumption. Our unique concept mirrors a fish market, offering daily varying selections at dynamic prices to reduce waste and engage our guests in sustainable choices. The Pesca Foundation amplifies our impact, financing projects for ocean health and promoting sustainable fishing practices.

Our journey has been marked by milestones. In 2016, our innovative approach earned us the title of Best Hospitality Concept. Fueled by our community’s support, we achieved a national crowdfunding record in 2018, enabling our growth in the Netherlands and sparking our global expansion plans. This success is paving our path for the expansion of Pesca theatres internationally, inviting diners everywhere to partake in our vision.

De Tulp opened in the summer of 2017 and is a concept developed by Younique Concepts with co-creation of JAJEM. The ‘new style’ bar is launched in Amsterdam, located at (Pijp area) Marie Heinekenplein 33. De Tulp is a place for the neighbourhood, (de Amsterdammer), young and old and for everyone who wants to feel the jungle fever.

De Tulp is an all day & night concept for everyone who wants to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Enjoy the enormous colourful terrace with self-service or dance the night away inside in a lively interior with the best DJ’s and live music!

We are thrilled to announce our latest venture! In collaboration with Meliá Hotels International, we are acquiring three food and beverage outlets in the INNSiDE by Meliá hotel, located in the heart of Amsterdam. Spanning two buildings on the ground floor, we will introduce a fresh lunch concept called MOST and a unique dining experience at our restaurant, Tierra. Additionally, we launched ‘Hasta La Vista, Baby!’ – a vibrant Spanish restaurant and cocktail bar.

Welcome to Café LouLou in Eindhoven! We proudly opened our doors in the South of Holland! We are tremendously excited about the end result and eagerly look forward to showcasing it in the coming weeks to you! Café LouLou is now open for lunch and dinner six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday!

An exclusive menu mixing old Italian classics with amazing products direct from Italy – plus a few fun twists from our Chef. From a Burrata to a classic Tagliolini al Tartufo. All we do is made with love. When it comes to drinks, the bar team has created a killer cocktail menu, with the likes of Limon Tette, a kick-ass Baciami, or the ultimate Italian classic Negroni with a twist. 

Lolo is out of the ordinary, yet homelike. Joyfull, lush and funky at night, with house made playlists and a homelike vibe.

¡Bienvenida! Fiona is located on the vibrant Warmoesstraat and here you’ll find the type of Mexican food you would normally only find 5.723 miles away. In Mexico. 

Together with the renowned Mexican chef Zahie Tellez our team created an authentic menu including refreshing and creative cocktails. Taste the paté de pepita, a speciality combining pumpkin-seed pate with habanero chili, served with crudites. And definetly go for the Taco de Jaiba Suave, for example, a deep fried soft shell crab served in a taco with outstanding chipotle mayo, red onion and cilantro. The menu overlays the techniques and heritage of the Mexican cuisine with a Dutch soul. 

If the food doesn’t lift your spirits, the staff and the restaurant its colorful interior for sure will.

Boutique Hotel Zaan is designed as a homelike hotel inspired by the diversity and originality of the scenes that surrounds us. The bedrooms and restaurant are designed to feel vibrant, cosy and welcoming – like a home away from home. A place where people come together for good food, good company and good conversations. 

As soon as you walk through the front door, you will know what we mean. Boutique Hotel Zaan has 25 rooms, a restaurant with bar and big terrace along the river Zaan and to top it all off views over De Zaanse Schans.

We’re very proud that we partnered up with several well-known brands to bring their Marketing, Public Relations and Sales to a next level. At this moment we’re fighting (hell yeah!) for Miri Mary, Vooges aan ‘t IJ, Koenraad and Café Carèl.
